I agree with everyone who says to reject this amendment. I understand the desire of parents to protect their children, being a mother myself. But this is definitely a slippery slope. There is no way a teacher can know ahead of time what might or might not offend a parent, and frankly people are too easily offended these days. Not to mention too many try to shelter their kids way too much. I have worked in higher ed and seen the result of parents over-sheltering their children who can't even function in daily life without having a nervous breakdown. I am not exaggerating.
