The Washington Post recently had an interesting article on robots replacing humans in a variety of occupations. The classroom teacher, I fear, will be next. There will be little need for original thinking if the curriculum is so closely regulated by the state.  Artificial intelligence should work just fine. 

Please trust trained teachers to do their jobs ethically and responsibly. We really do know best.
