This is a profoundly bad idea on so many levels! It is an insult and disservice to students, who need to address controversy as an element of critical thinking; it is an insult to teachers, who - already over-worked and undrepaid - would be charged with anticipating what might be "sensitive" to ... anyone?; it is a violation of the U.S. Constitution. Mostly, it is contrasry to common sense. It sounds like this legislation was proposed by someone who is more interested in avoiding frivolous lawsuits than in educating our children. How very very sad.
