As Virginians we are lucky to have a mature, robust and reliable electric power system.  Power systems are capital intensive with long lead times for new construction.  Climate change catastrophists are forcing these systems to be changed in ways that make them far less reliable and more expensive.  Unfortunately, by the time the consequences of the green agenda are seen (frequent rolling blackouts and much greater energy costs), it will be difficult to roll these back because of the loss of capital stock.  

The RGGI is only one of many policies that were rammed through by the democrats that we will one day rue.  They should all be rolled back as soon as possible.
