Because the second amendment of the US constitution guarantees the right to bare arms, and keeping in mind that the duly appointed law enforcement officials in our state parks can not guarantee the safety of all users of the state parks, it only makes sense to allow persons that legally possess fire arms the right to provide for their own self defense.
