Description |
The Treatment Foster Care Standards for Child-Placing Agencies will consolidate two sets of regulations into one. It will apply to all child-placing agencies that wish to provide specialized or treatment foster care services to children and to agencies that wish to receive Medicaid funding for their treatment foster care case management services to children. Treatment foster care is a community-based program where services are designed to address the special needs of children and families. Services to the children are delivered primarily by treatment foster parents who are trained, supervised and supported by agency staff.
