Goals of Regulation |
1. The protection of the public's health, safety, and welfare with the least possible cost and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth. 2. The provision for (i) the licensing and operation of the enclosures, (ii) the fees for the application and license, (iii) the species of goats, sheep, and hogs that may be held, (iv)the minimum contiguous acreage necessary, (v) the humane care and humane killng of animals being held, (vi) the methods and procedures for disposal of animals, (vii) the reporting of the death of every animal being held in the shooting enclosure not killed by the clientele, (viii) the reasonable utilization of all animals killed by the clientele, and (ix) the basic veterinary care of the animals held in the enclosure. |
