Action Summary |
The amendments to this chapter change the requirement of having a human ambulance present at the racetrack during the exercising or training of Standardbred (Harness) horses. The risk of human injury is much less when training Standardbred horses as compared to the training of Thoroughbred horses. This rule change will affect Standardbred (Harness) exercising only and was endorsed by the Virginia Harness Horsemen’s Association as well as by the unlimited licensee, Colonial Downs. |
