These Amendments are being made in order to give the racing commission the flexibility to hire a qualified individual when circumstances so dictate without having to amend our regulations each time the accrediation requirements are amended by the Racing Officials Accredation Program.
These amendments also will now include the Executive Secretary in the process of selecting an substitute steward.
