I support ther implementation of GPS collars for all hound hunters

In 2013, Hound Hunters fought and lobbied for the Code of Virginia to be amended specifically Game Laws, Sub Section 29.1-516 to allow GPS collars to be used in regards to Fox Hunting. Now that  GPS and tracking technology is being sought for Deer and Bear hunting they now oppose Global Positioning Sattelite collars.

The hypocrisy in all of this is that the hound hunters already utilize GPS collars to track and monitor and track the movement of their deer and bear hounds as well as fox hounds.

The hound hunters lobbied for and got a law passed to make it illegal to remove GPS collars from hounds. 18.2-97.1, Removal of Transmitting Device Penalty.

George Washington was a Fox Hunter and he owned and bred American Fox Hounds. BTW the American Fox Hound is the state dog of Virginia not Coon or Deer dogs such as Walkers, Potts, Redticks, Blueticks or Red Bone or Black and Tans. Beagles aren't the state dog either.

Fox hounds gave a longer history here in Virginia Hunting heritage than the deer or bear hounds.

The hound hunters talking about expenses. As Hunter's, landowners and outdoorsmen and women we all have expenses as well.

No preferent in regards to land management, Hunting, fishing, equipment and the burden of paying taxes on that land that those hound hunters lease or that the landowners enjoy themselves.
