Commenter: Exit 7 Towing, Bristol, VA

BTRO

We are one of the oldest towing companys doing business in Bristol, VA for the past 17 years. We have dealt with everything from lightweight to heavy duty recovery and have experinced a growing cost from insurance, fuel, maintance and updating equipment etc.. The only thing this board is doing is going to add more cost and confussion to the companies and consumers. As for the integrite of this board saying they are for the public, where is the public records for the meetings and comments for public viewing. Where is the noteafication to the towing companies that there is going to be changes or meetings other than this web site. If it wasn't for a friend in northern VA we wouldn't even known about this web site. What were you going to do just past this bill and say here is your new rules and regulations. And why is the meetings only held in the northern districts and not through out the state such as were we are at in S.W. VA. I also think that it is a conflict of intrest for one of your board members with one of the largest services in N. VA to be on this board. My opioin is that he's in it for himself. Once more this is how the state takes care of the small business owner and the blue collor employees that are the ones that this goverment dosn't want to acknowledge that keeps this country moving. AND NOT THE CORUPTION of POLITICIANS and LOBBIEST.
