It is essential to carry because of the unknown and unexpected. If I am bowhunting, and come across a bear that decides I am dinner...do I just give up or protect myself. It is my right to hunt in the parks and defending myself in the event a situation occurs. Just because I carry(legally) does not mean my intentions are for wrong doing. The place where I and many other family members hunt has an ever growing population and or occurence of bear activity. If my family and any of there kids are out playing in the yard, which backs up to the National Forest, and a bear arrives hungry, do I have the right. Sure! 10 feet into the forset from the property line...do I still have the right? I should always have the right.
