Abortion center regulations are essential for the health and safety of Virginia women and must be maintained, not weakened.
The suspension of operations at a Fairfax abortion facility due to 26 health and safety violations proves that the regulations are working and must be preserved as is, not watered down. The abortion industry has fought regulation for years by donating a half milion dollars to Governor McAuliffe and $30K to the AG, yet repeatedly independent inspectors find serious deficiencies, even during announced inspections. Abortion centers do not self-regulate because it hurts their bottem line. Abortion is not healthcare because it ends lives instead of healing them. However, since abortion operates under the guise of healthcare and possess the potential of killing mothers, abortion centers must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Simply, Virginia women deserve nothing less.”
