How can the majority of a board, made up of members that have never participated in any organized hound hunts, try to push through such an extreme regulation that VA legislators would not? Not to mention your independent study by UVA could'nt find the "overwhelming" issues you said were out there. You are singling out a particular group of hunters (your largest group) with EXTREME regulations that could make a portion criminals off of what would basically be a judgement call. If the concern of DWR and the handful of upset landowners was to keep hunting dogs off of their properties, why is it just deer and bear hounds being regulated?? Really looks bad DWR! Please reconsider this proposal.
