I have seen entirely too many kids in Foster Care never be adopted, live the rest of their youth bouncing from home to home, and wondering why it is that no one "wants" them. The truth is - LOTS of people would love to adopt these kids...we're just blocked from doing so. Considering that the requirements to be a foster parent right now are pretty loose - I do not see anything wrong with allowing children to have a safe, nurturing set of parents who may or may not be able to have kids themselves, or simply want to help a kid during a critical time in their life. Kids need stability and love - rarely are they bothered by what someone's sexuality is.
