Winter is certainly NOT the time to resume face to face visits and MAKE THEM REQUIRED! COVID is on the uptick again. Just this week alone we lost a friend to COVID, my daughter’s dad was positive for COVID. Mill Mountain Theater in Roanoke had to cancel several performances due to an outbreak. This was all JUST in a week and all local! The DD waiver community is typically health compromised and at risk. Forcing them to allow workers into our homes after Christmas (the service facilitators and case managers will have been around crowds and family gatherings); high risk! Please revisit this ridiculous policy! Thank you.
