Improvements in access for Medicaid members

Members transportation is normally a problem for the members, they report the transport people do not show up to pick them up and they miss appointments and then the providers will drop them as a patient. If they do not call 5 days in advance they can't get transportation unless they call 911. No one should have to  utilize 911 if it is not an emergent situation.

Members don't have access to dental care if they are an adult. So many adults have dental issues and not able to get help so they tie up the emergency departments.

They should not be treated differently since they have a Medicaid product.

They should be able to go to urgent cares for urgent matters and not tie up the ER departments.

They should have nurse lines available to assist them with medical concerns when the provider offices are open or closed. So many provider offices are so busy,  phone calls that members may make no one is called back so they go to the ER department when they do not have an emergent issue.
