The comments on here in opposition to SEL and conflating it to indoctrination and CRT is the exact reason we need SEL to remain part of the curriculum. It fosters independent critical thinking. We need students prepared to be successful in the world, not only in VA. We need to give them the skills to be able to do that and not censor what they are taught.
