I canoe the James, Nottoway and other rivers.  I live at the shoulder of the Chesapeake on the Atlantic and spend extensive time fishing and enjoying the waters of the Chesapeake.  I am a Boy Scout leader and teach boys leadership by experiencing the outdoors of the Chesapeake and its watershed.

I approve of controlling nutrient flows into the Chesapeake watershed.  I understand the balance between agriculture, residential development and transportation.  I would prefer to pay more for eggs and chicken to preserve the Chesapeake and its rivers.  Controlling nitrogen and phosphorous pollution is imperative to saving the bay.  We've done most of what we can with point polluters, regulating agriculture and residential runoff is appropriate and worth the expense.
