Lawful firearms

Many events prove that only lawful people are interested in following laws.  Examples include the Virginia Tech shooting and the recent shooting at the Holocaust Museum.

None of the existing laws was sufficient to prevent them from happening, and no additonal law or threatened punishment would have made a difference either.

Laws and regulations restricting the carrying of firearms will only apply to those people who are by definition law abiding.  In many cases, this means that they will avoid places where they may not legally take the tools required to defend themselves from criminal agression.

Please bring the regulations in line with the law of the rest of the state by allowing openly carried handguns, and concealed handguns with an appropriate permit.
