Please end the mask mandate, it’s nearly July and it’s unhealthy for individuals to constantly wear the same ppe all day long, touching their faces to readjust their masks because they can’t breathe. Surgical masks were not meant to be worn all day. They are designed for single procedures or patients in the hospital setting. There are many reasons why individuals would be opposed to mask wearing. People with anxiety, a trauma history, pregnant women, people with respiratory issues. A mask creates a warm, moist environment where bacteria can grow and leave someone more susceptible to immune dysfunction. Also breathing in your own co2 is not healthy all day long. Please allow freedom of choice of individuals to wear masks if they wish, but they should not be mandatory, especially in the summer.
