My children with autism will not wear masks because of their many sensory issues. If masks are required for school then my children will be left out, as they also have had problems with distance learning, and will kick and scream when they have to participate in synchronous learning. I have asthma and other breathing issues that make it difficult to wear a mask. Do not make masks mandatory!
