your requirement to purchase a device or service

About the Medicaid phone

the reason some clients can’t get it is because they don’t have a credit history and the companies won’t give them out without that.   Also I know it is hard for some to believe but many attendants don’t know how to use a smart device.  They have problems learning new things and is perhaps the reason they are willing to work a low paying job, because they can't get trained to do a better paying one.  Also numerous providers are older Virginians who are trying to keep their loved ones home and alive don't have the smart phones.

CMS said no client would have to purchase a service or device to continue to use consumer directed services.  Yet that is exactly what DMAS is making us do.
