EVV... too many issues to list...
EVV... too many issues to list...

EVV is a disaster, and there are too many issues to list. (first red flag, EOR Manual doesn't mention EVV?!)

Here are a few -

APP does not work correctly; gets stuck often, sometimes causing late sign-in or sign-out

If late signing out, system will delete whole shift

Every "update", have to get CDCN to unregister so you can re-register (IT folks know - this is not an "update")

HIPPA violation possible

Targeting and discrimination against disabled community (tracking, threatening loss of life-dependent services, etc.)

PRIVACY violation likely

The bottom line is the APPs seem to have been thrown out there to meet a deadline.  They are not ready for production, as shown by their lack of performance; which raises a huge cybersecurity concern. (I have a whole host of questions related to cybersecurity).

Virginia needs to do the right thing, and exempt live-ins.  We are saving the state MILLIONS by keeping our loved ones home, and trust me when I say, it is not so I can commit fraud and get an extra $12 from the state.

We have a proven 27 year record of doing the right thing.  We watch our son 24/7, and only get a few handfuls of hours paid to caregivers.  While we appreciate what we have, it is insulting and infuriating that the Commonwealth of Virginia is targeting the disabled community.

Do the right thing Virginia...
