Not to be over dramatic but seriously, this is one more burden we do not need. And our aides - who are very poorly compensated for their hard work - aren’t able to get paid. We have an aide for our daughter who is NOT tech savvy. She doesn’t have a phone, computer or the ability to navigate these issues. I find myself racing home to check her in and out so she can get timely credit for her work. And still we have issues. Two pay periods, for some inexplicable reason, none of her hours were posted. You can’t get through on the phone lines and it takes days or weeks to get an email response. I spend hours on troubleshooting every week. It is stressful having staff not paid and constantly having to navigate these issues and trouble shoot. This is seriously impacting our lives in a way I trust no legislator or bureaucrat intended for our most vulnerable families??? Something has got to give!!!
