Location doesn't work if a patient lives in a rural area-even in an offline app. When it does work it's usually wrong. Some patients don't have landline phones for telephony. This is a huge mess. Providers are going to stop providing personal/respite care because EVV is so costly and we can't get answers about what to do regarding the scenario above. I reached out to the DMAS EVV email over a week ago and they have yet to respond. Post pone EVV until the coronavirus mess calms a bit. It's difficult to go get public wifi because of it and patients do not have wifi in their homes. Ridiculous.
