Commenter: too terrified to give cause you will take my son to a group home

I am part of the 12%

I must be too stupid to use consumer directed care anymore.   EVV has been devastating.  I do happen to have a Master's Degree in Education plus 24 additional graduate credits;  I have a tested full scale IQ of 147.  I AM TOO STUPID to use a smart phone without running out of data and then rendering unusable for the rest of the month.  Because I guess I am too stupid to waste over $100 a month just to use a device when I used to pay $18  a month for a landline (those now cost way more.)  I try to stay on a budget to keep my bills low.  Yes I am one of those people who still mail in checks.  Frequently I cannot afford to pay for wifi.  I had to quit my job in 2014 to stay home with my now adult son when he aged out of school.  I didn't want him sent to yet another facility where he would again be raped and beaten and heavily drugged (DMAS has not problem with that though, cause they do nothing about those issue.)  they just want to take people who have someone who cares about them away and place them in one of the state ran crap places.

so the Pew  reports says only about 12% of us run around without smart phones...   Maybe it is because this 12% doesn't want to waste money on that con.
