EXEMPT LIVE INS V. INCLUDING LIVE INS

With EVV:

-Long term costs for contracts/maintenance with EVV vendors (which will quickly rise as these companies become more entrenched).

-The loss of family caregivers/guardians/friends as DSP's and the need for more expensive institutionalization.

-The potential for lawsuits on the horizon concerning EVV (privacy, loss of care, data breaches of very private and sensitive information, etc...)

-The need for new, round-the-clock IT staffing to handle all the app. errors/complications/questions.

Without EVV (exempt live ins):

-LIve ins continue to use the portal, a tried and true system that has been used by live ins for years (it is also currently being used).
