My son was a client of ResCare in the late 90's. He had shoes, a brand new backpack & other items stolen. He suffered injuries from other clients. When he broke his ankle, they had a wheelchair with no legs. His ankle hung down all day & evening. It swelled badly. No one had common sense to prop it up. I had enough & brought him home. Now DMAS is making keeping him home impossible by not being able to hire staff for CDPA because of EVV.
