Liberals say EVV was created to cut down on fraud and ensure that people receive the documented care they need. This is so wrong on so many levels.  EVV can be tracked back to a money grab by technology companies looking to make a profit off the disabled.  This has nothing to do with fraud (except that of EVV companies)  and helping people with disabilities.  This is tracking people with disabilities ever single move each and every day.  DMAS knows we went to Florida for my sister's wedding and how long we were there.  Where we were while we were there.  If I didn't have CDPA I couldn't have attended the wedding. I am given CDPA because I qualify for nursing home care level services.  CDPA allows me to live in the community.  Without it I would be waiting to die in a nursing home.  But it isn't right that my every move is monitored so EVV tech companies can turn a profit.  CDPA had low fraud.  EVV companies have made a buddle if you keep hurting this disabled this way or not.  EVV has made sure most of the 26,000 people getting CDPA in Virginia WILL NOT continue to get the care the need.
