I have YOPD.  I live in my own home and am employed.  To enable me to continue living independently in my own home and working, I have personal care attendants who assist me with getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, cooking, house cleaning, shopping, driving, etc. My attendant care is the lowest cost service available to the state.  I am in a self-directed Medicaid waiver program, in which I control my own care.  I hire my own attendants, set the days and times they work, where they work, and how they assist me.  I am extremely concerned about the potential impact of EVV on my life and the lives of millions with disabilities.  EVV lobbyists tacked on EVV to the 21st Century Cures Act.  Now, they stand to profit by invading my private life and home and my attendant's private life.  How is paying EVV lobbyists in the best interest of the disabled?
