There is already poor pay and poor benefits, and now the financial burden of affording a smart phone with data and lack of ADA compliance is just too much. We were told by the fiscal agent that the EVV app is designed by the state and every one uses the same system. That is unacceptable under ADA. The free phone has limited data, so you must choose how many attendants and how often they use the app before it runs out of data. This EVV needs more thought put into it. Please help pay to run this data, so if does not become a financial burden on consumers that have fixed income. I have seen a drop in attendants in the last year. Everyone is calling this a critical situation.
