EVV Rounding Problems
 

Time recorded on the Celltrak phone app reflects actual time worked.  However, time reported on the portal rounds.  So, we have had instances where the app shows 8 hours (time allowed) but the portal shows 8.25 due to rounding (15 minutes "over" allotted time).  Fixing this system rounding error on the portal is "non-compliant" per CDCN.  Per CDCN, "if he is sure to clock out no more that 6 minutes past the hour it will round down. If he wants to clock out at 8pm, as long as he does that by 8:06, the portal will round it down. If he clocks out at 8:07, it will round up to 8:15."

This can't seriously be an expectation for a caregiver to, in additional to everything else, now be expected to monitor rounding errors?  DMAS you need to make CDCN get the app and portal in sync.  Both need to show the exact same time submitted.  If the portal rounds, the app needs to round.  There should be no question what time the attendant is submitting.  This is not another burden you can put on them when it is a system flaw of CDCN.
