I quit being an attendant two weeks ago, and my only regret is the person I left behind and my hopes that they will be ok, but I had to make a choice.  EVV makes the job extremely undesirable and a person would be a fool to keep the consumer directed attendant job under these circumstances. A few times, I clocked out early, because I was driving the person on the highway and was unable to clock out at the actual end of shift due to the danger of pulling over at night.  My pay was cut each time I did this.  I was never paid correctly once evv began.  I also had the additional cost of data usage and roaming charges on my cell phone plan because of the evv app.  The job was just not worth the troubles with evv.
