I care for my friend's child with disabilities. My home is now the child's home and they are treated just like family. Evv has turned my family's life into an episode of the Twilight Zone. Imagine the Walton's having to clock in and out for one child every day many times per day. That is what is going on here: The Walton's meet The Twilight Zone. I thought the most trouble would come from dealing with a disability or from the countless in home visits by agencies and the many evaluations and meetings! Evv has gotten so bad and we have lost our sanity so often that we are considering the unimaginable: of letting this child go into the system! DMAS is simply "changing the channel" when it comes to the needs of this child.
