Hybrid Appraisals

I agree with so many of the comments posted and would like to lend my voice along with theirs, though so many have said it all.

Appraisers are required to have extensive appraisal education, years long training under a mentor, and continuing education for the life of our career in order to protect the public trust. How does sending an unlicensed individual to do part of our job (with no liability for their inspection conclusions) protect the public? How does it speed up the process when now there are two (or more) people that must be contacted, scheduled, and set up for the job? It doesn't.

As others have said weakening or eliminating the appraisal process with this sort of product introduces more risk to the public.
