The recent efforts to remove and/or modify the monuments locate along Monument Avenue amount to hatred by certain groups being acted out upon inaminate objects and display a general lack of understanding of Virginia's history.

Now, considering the actions taken by the U. S. House of Representatives regarding hate speech, the actions being considered to remove the monuments can be considered hate against Confederate veterans. 

Also, there is a total disregard that Conveterans were codified and recognized by the U.S. Congress ad American Veterans, and should be subject to protection as such.
