Cherish our history- Leave the Statues alone.

Virginia has a heritage very unique to our Nation. From our Founding Fathers which brought us our Constitution and past Presidents of our country, to great men who stood upon principle and conviction with HONOR and devotion to our country and this great state of Virginia. It is our history -our heritage. It has been honored thru-out by our fellow citizens who also sacrificed their properety and lives to preserve it. Including the money, land and labor to ensure that our history remains to be honored.  I, for one, am grateful for everyones sacrifice to preserve our heritage. It is such a shame to come to a place decades later, by a people who know not the past or care to preserve it, to see it under attack - due to a real lack of knowledge of true history and instead be persuaded by political correctness just because they never read a history book. These men honored thru-out our state were honored because they devoted their lives, and made great sacrifices, for great causes that made HISTORY. Something that our current leaders who are for the most part self-serving, and know nothing of HONOR and true SACRIFICE. Leave the STATUES ALONE. You did not pay for them, and you do not have the right to undue the sacrifices of true men who did.
