Better than we found it

Dear Representatives,

Jordan F. was born and raised in Virginia. He came to me asking for a job in solar. I told him the work would be hard, but worthwhile. He responded that it was worth the sacrifice if his work/company left a positive impact on his community. Jordan is now one of my top energy consultants because of his committment to lift his neighbors.

In the short few months that he has worked for me at Sigora Solar, he has helped dozens of homeowners save hundreds of thousands of dollars in power bills. His sales have required us to hire additional workers to accomodate the volume.

The opportunity in renewable energy has exponential positive effects on the people of Virginia. Fair net metering laws, solar incentives, access laws, and energy efficiency guidelines have far reaching impacts. On the other hand, standby charges, net metering limits, system size limits, and ohter restrictions have an impact on people's livelihood.

Please remember Jordan and the thousands of other of workers like him that rely on you to advocate for them again as utility monopolies.

Cheers,

Cody Thiel
