Dear Director Paylor and Members of the Air Pollution Control Board,

I strongly support the recommendation of the Secretary of Natural Resources, the Secretary of Commerce and Trade, the Director of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, the Director of the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy, and the Deputy Attorney General for Commerce, Environment, and Technology. They have gone through extensive deliberation and strategic planning that I can’t see as to why we shouldn’t go through with this policy change.

We all know that the as Carbon Emissions increase, especially by Virginia Power Plants, that we are literally losing our air. It may not be as noticeable now but the rational approach would be to fix the problem now before it becomes a crisis. This isn’t just costs and benefits, its peoples lives and health, as well as the environment. If this isn’t passed, the next time this problem is presented the damage will have been done.

We need to think about the long run and implement necessary reductions accordingly. I support a declining cap of carbon emission created by electricity generating facilities/ power plants because who doesn’t love fresh air.
