A clinician may be working with a client through a 3 hour session, and during the appointment,the client may experience heighten symptoms. In spite of clinician's attempt to de-escalate what ever situation that caused  heighten symptoms,clinician determines  the client should be assessed at hospital,and talks client in to going with them to ED,where there is typically a long wait time. Thiscould be easily stretch beyond the five hour allowed for 2 units.
