I believe that as a nation we must eliminate the need for women to seek abortion. And that means mature dialogue between women and men to prevent unintended pregnancy. That said, abortion is legal in the US, however it is not always safe. Here in Virginia there are ways that a woman's health can be better protected by laws governing abortion clinics. These laws need to be strong enough to avoid 'abortion mills' and to ensure women the protection that they need for their physical and emotional health at such a difficult time.
