Since they were adopted in 2012, Virginia's abortion center health and safety standards have resulted in the uncovering of hundreds of health and safety violations. We have an obligation to protect the women of Virginia from unethical abortion providers who will otherwise cut corners and place women's lives and health at risk. The current standards should be continued, and vigorously enforced.
