As chair of a CACREP-accredited program  for 20 years, a national certified counselor ( NCC), and a licensed psychologist ( APA-accredited counseling  psychology program), I oppose the position of  CACREP-only programs for license eligibility. I do support the concept of CACREP and embrace the curriculum standards. My counseling identity is well-developed , with over many years of continuous memberhsip  in  ACA, ACES , state and regional counseling organizations.
