alternative access to voter photo ID

It is not practical for many elderly persons, who not have driver's licenses or jobs, to go to either an election office or DMV to get a valid voter ID.

To reach goal of visually identifying voters, the law should be altered to allow voter a registration cards with space for a personal facial photo (similar to a passport photo), signiture lines, and a requirement for notary stamp and signature.  If considered necessary, a requirement could be added that the notoary stamp cover a portion of the photo to preclude changing photos.  Notaries are sworn officers of the court so integrity should not be a problem. The purpose of a notary is to fix a personal identification to a document, which is consist with the goals of the voter photo ID law.

I've been informed this is not consistent with current law.
