Voter ID

It should be obvious that only current government issued picture IDs should be accepted as proof of identity for voting in Virginia. Anyone without one should have the opportunity to get one free of charge. There is simply no valid excuse for not having one in this day and age. Arguments that would have been valid 50 years ago, no longer apply.

The state requires valid IDs to purchase alcohol, cigarrettes, drive and for many other valid reasons. There seems to be little difficulty in obtaining IDs for those purposes. There is simply no valid reason for not requiring them for the most critical task of all, voting.

Let's keep Viriginia voting honest and weed out those who are not qualified to vote in the Commonwelth or who would vote multiple times. Lets also purge the rolls of those who are deceased or who no longer live in the state.
