Virginians have produced varying forms of ID in order to vote at least since I moved here in 1983. Some of those IDs have photos, some do not including the state issued voter registration card. In 3 decades I have not heard of in-person voter fraud within the Commonwealth. And let's face it - if it were a real issue, former AG Cuccinelli would have prosecuted, publicized, and made it a cornerstone of his gubernatorial campaign. But that didn't happen. It seems to me that there is an attempt to make it more difficult to vote and that some elected officials are working hard to ensure that only those people whom they want casting ballots have "acceptable" ID. A Democracy requires that its citizens vote to choose their elected representatives, not that elected officials select the voters they want. Something's very wrong here.
