I am a retired nurse. I worked  for 35+ yrs. NEVER, without exception, did a patient ever receive a procedure that was NOT ordered by HER physician, and consented to in writting by the patient. No politician should be given this right, no matter their personal or religious opinion. The GOP  say they want 'smaller Govt".  This is Govt  out of control! I would never force anyone to have an abortion, nor would I take away the right of a woman and her Dr. to act in the woman's best interests.Somehow the lines between medical professionals, and the beliefs of the religious right have become enmeshed in a manner that seems medically illegal, and no one seems to have the good sense to know the difference! You have politicians saying that a woman "doesn't need to watch" the procedure, as if that somehow makes an unnecessary, and expensive procedure, less offensive in some way. It does not!  Shame on those who cause more trauma, during what is a most vulnerable time, for a woman.
