Virginia needs to keep service facilitators for CD services. Replacing the non biased organizations we have chosen to represent our disabled loved ones, with brokers that represent the fiscal agent, seems a due process/civil rights violation for the disabled individual. Virginia, and DMAS, has sought to make life even harder for disabled individuals, and their families, in hopes of driving service recipients away, and saving a dollar. Maybe cracking down on the fraudulent service recipients would be a better option than making those of us that suffer through the day to day with disabilities and its effects, suffer even more. Furthermore, the EVV visits are nothing more than a way to track attendants, but even worse, the disabled recipients of services. It’s a privacy invasion, and DMAS knows it. DMAS should be ashamed!
