Protecting Patient Safety

I strongly oppose athletic trainers performing dry needling. They lack the extensive, four-year training that licensed acupuncturists complete, and dry needling is simply acupuncture under a different name. Allowing inadequately trained individuals to insert needles into patients is not only misleading, but also potentially dangerous.
